If you were a CPA network, what would be your primary requirements for an affiliate applying to you? They would most likely want an affiliate who is stable and who isn’t in it to scam anyone. Many people don’t get accepted to CPA networks, not because the CPA networks think they’re scammers, but because the networks don’t know what kind of track record they have. The way to solve this problem is to approach the network as a firm, as a company, rather than applying to them as an individual. The reason for this is because CPA networks view firms and companies as much more reliable. The CPAs you apply to are companies, too, and they are always on the lookout for companies to partner up with so that they can expand their own business. When they see that you, too, are a company, they’ll instantly have more trust in you and they’ll oftentimes approve you right away. Obviously if I am a company the chances of me scamming a network would be much less when compared to some random person wanting to become an affiliate. That’s not to mention that forming a business is simple these days. If you want an LLC or an INC, you can easily get it online for very low money and you won’t have to wait long for it, either. When you have your company name, you can then use it to apply for the network you want and they’ll be more likely to accept you. 

When you’re filling out the application form, the network will ask you whether you will be promoting any offers through email marketing. Don’t just hastily check this option, unless you really are into email promotions. If you don’t know what to say, it’s best to skip it without putting anything since you’ll just make it harder for your application to get approved. If you did check it, and you were to call the affiliate manager and he started asking you all sorts of questions about email marketing, you wouldn’t know what to say. 

When you turn in your application, expect to get a confirmation email from the affiliate manager. You may find that the affiliate manager wants more information and sends more questions in the email. But the majority of the networks simply give a phone call, rather than emailing. Some applicants get rejected because they ignore that call from their affiliate manager and they end up getting rejected, even though they know just what to say. It shows him you don’t take it seriously and you’ll likely never hear from him again.If you simply cannot answer the phone, for whatever reason, the affiliate manager will likely understand if you call back as soon as you’re able so that you can explain what happened and ask for your application’s approval.
