Internet marketing can be complicated for some and the same time easy for many. Why is there a difference between the marketers that succeed and the ones that fail? You must put in the effort and see for yourself and not listen to all of the myths. One common behavior from some marketers is they are uncomfortable with optins, for a mailing list, because they’re afraid of how it may look. The truth is that if that were so, then there wouldn’t be so many millions of business owners successfully building a list and making money from it. It’s an IM fact that a responsive mailing list can mean a tremendous amount of money if it’s done right. An email list can confer the kind of income and business stability and growth that anyone would want to have. It just makes a lot of sense to ask for your visitors contact info so that you can tap into them later, even if they don’t buy from you right away. The point of an email list is to follow up with people to make the sale, and then you can make more sales in the future with them. If you have a website, then you should right away start working on your own list.

There is a certain segment of the IM population who believe you’ll never need to have your site designed, or redesigned, by a professional website designer. If that was true, then all the big, successful websites like Amazon.com wouldn’t give any preference to their website’s design. Yes you should have an effective sales copy to grab the sales and actually convert the visitors into buyers, however, that’s not the only thing that will bring in the profits. The thing for all of us to remember is that your website or blog must uphold certain minimum amounts of usability and best design practices before you will get reasonable sales numbers. Concepts and real ideas that you’re trustworthy and professional enough to do business with are necessary. The moment someone arrives on your site they are judging you, like it or not, and at that point all they have to go on is how your site looks. The best approach is to hire a designer you can afford, or do it yourself which is what many people do.

It certainly seems that some marketers consider it unnecessary to use effective sales copy in their marketing. But as we all understand and it’s common sense that in order to really sell a product, you’ll have to have the right message sent across. We’ve seen copy written in all kinds of ways, most of it is very poorly written, too. We recommend you search for freelance writing sites, and “do” take your time and shop carefully. If you don’t have money for that, then take the time to learn some basics and study other sales letters. In conclusion, internet marketing has gotten bigger and bigger over the years, which mean that the lies about internet marketing have also gotten bigger. The few that we discussed should be ignored, but look out for the others so that you will know the facts.
