One of the best way to increase traffic to your blog is with backlinks…Links from other places leading back to your blog…The best way to get these is with Comments on other peoples blog…Find a blog in your “Niche” and make a comment with your URL linking back to your blog…These are called one-way-links & they are the best type of backlinks to have…Another type is a Reciprocal…Where you basically trade link with another site…Linking from theirs to your & yours to theirs…Another important thing for Backlinks is Relevancy…Do the blog linking to yours have anything in common with the style of your blog…This is where “Niche” searching comes into play…The other thing you run into especially with Wordpress blogs is the evil “NoFollow” tag…Google & other search engines don’t lend any weight to “NoFollow” links…There are many different SEO tools for finding blogs with the “DoFollow” tag…Some are free & some are premium…A cool site I found for “DoFollow”  & “Niche” blogs is   http://www.seopositions.net/dofollow/ type in the style or Niche of your blog…Click enter & TADA blogs in your “Niche” with the “DoFollow” tag…Always remember when commenting on someone else’s blog is to make relevant Comments…Don’t just say Great blog & leave your link…You’ll be labeled a Spammer & that does more damage than good…Happy blogging…
