Everyone experiences some level of anger at some point or another that may make them feel as though they may lose it and strike out. Sometimes the pain that you have had for awhile may cause this extreme emotion while sometimes the rage may be spontaneous. Thinking in this way is going to help you avoid another outburst that may end up costing you even more than the last one.
